Research interest

My interests lie in bioinformatical and statistical analysis of data. Currently more and more data is being generated by new approaches as NGS and analyzing/correctly interpreting it has become a sort of a bottleneck. There are lots of tools for calculating population genetic parameters and doing simulations available but in most cases they are very case specific. Making them work for multitude of different data sets and improving on them seems like an interesting and very much needed prospect.
